Rob Cross has ended the remarkable debut-weekend run of Tom Sykes to storm into another Euro Tour final at the 2026 Slovak Darts Open in Bratislava. The first ever champion of the event will be crowned on Sunday evening, with Cross now set to face Nathan Aspinall in the final.

Cross's victory over Sykes brought the fairy-tale to an end for the debutant, who had impressed throughout the weekend. The final night in Bratislava also features Mike De Decker meeting Wessel Nijman in the other semi-final, with the winner taking on either Cross or Aspinall for the title.

The afternoon session saw a major shake-up as Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and Cameron Menzies all slumped out, while Nathan Aspinall impressed to book his place in the latter stages. Cross had earlier dumped out top seed Gian van Veen, while Menzies destroyed Gerwyn Price with a 106 average in the previous round.
