Gerwyn Price has taken sole possession of the top spot in a notable ranking with his participation in the upcoming 2026 US Darts Masters. The Welshman will step up to the oche for the eighth time at the American World Series event this year, making him the player with the most appearances in the history of the World Series event.

Price thereby edges out Michael van Gerwen. The Dutchman, who is absent in New York this year, has seven appearances and remains one of the most consistent faces in the tournament, but must for now cede first place to his rival from Wales. The fact that only two players have reached seven appearances underscores how remarkable their presence has been over the years. Peter Wright also ranks among the event’s true veterans. The two-time world champion now stands on six appearances and has long been a fixture at the American World Series stop. Wright, however, is also absent in the USA this year.

Behind this trio is a group on five appearances, consisting of Michael Smith, Rob Cross, and Canadian representatives Jeff Smith and David Cameron. With four appearances, Matt Campbell is the most experienced active Canadian in the field. Danny Lauby Jr. and Jules van Dongen have also reached four outings. Luke Humphries joined that group this year as well. The current world leader missed earlier editions, but in recent years has become a regular in the World Series and now stands on four appearances. Leonard Gates, Jim Long, and James Wade also reached a new milestone in 2025 by recording their fourth appearance.

A standout name on the list is Luke Littler. The young Englishman only made his US Darts Masters debut in 2023, yet already sits on three appearances. Daryl Gurney, Alex Spellman, and Adam Sevada are also on three appearances. In addition, the tournament features a large group of players who have started twice, including Stephen Bunting, Jonny Clayton, Stowe Buntz, Danny Baggish, and Gary Mawson. The 2026 edition also brings four debutants: Gian van Veen, Josh Rock, Fred Krueger, and Brayden Hall.

Since the inaugural edition, the tournament has hosted an impressive roster of participants. Former world champion Raymond van Barneveld appeared once at the US Darts Masters, as did Dimitri Van den Bergh, Fallon Sherrock, Damon Heta, and Max Hopp, among others. With his eighth appearance, Gerwyn Price currently holds a unique record. The question now is whether Michael van Gerwen can catch the Welshman in the coming years, or whether Price will extend his lead.
