Top seed Jim Long, the only PDC Tour Card holder in the field, will face top Canadian qualifier Brayden Hall in the opening quarter-final. America's premier player Adam Sevada, who qualified via the CDC system, takes on two-time World Darts Championship qualifier Alex Spellman. Spellman earned his spot by winning the CDC Continental Cup.
2022 North American Champion Leonard Gates, known as a darting showman, will face debutant Fred Krueger. David Cameron, who won through the CDC Cross Border Challenge, meets former UK Open finalist Gary Mawson. The tournament will be played to a finish on Friday, with the winner qualifying for both the PDC World Darts Championship and the Grand Slam of Darts.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for the afternoon session on Friday June 26 at 1300 EST. The semi-finals and final will follow, with the order of play determined after the quarter-finals. All players also compete in the US Darts Masters on Thursday night against top PDC stars including Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, giving them at least two matches at the iconic venue regardless of their US Darts Masters result.
