Michael van Gerwen remains at the top of the World Series of Darts Order of Merit after the US Darts Masters, despite skipping the New York event. The Dutchman, who won earlier World Series tournaments in Bahrain and Copenhagen, holds 32 points. Luke Littler sits second on 28 points, while Luke Humphries—who defended his title at Madison Square Garden with an 8-7 win over Littler—moves up to third with 26 points.

The top three will not add any more World Series points for the rest of the season, as it was previously confirmed that Van Gerwen, Littler and Humphries will all miss the Down Under double-header. That opens the door for other players to finish the World Series ranking as number one.

Fourth place is currently held by Gian van Veen, who moved to 19 points thanks to his semi-final run in New York. Gerwyn Price is fifth with 16 points, while Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall are both on 10. James Wade and Jonny Clayton follow on eight points. Josh Rock played his first World Series tournament of the season at the US Darts Masters and lost immediately in the last 16, leaving him on just one point.

More points are still likely to come for Rock, as he is set to appear at the New Zealand Darts Masters and the Australian Darts Masters. Alongside Rock, Van Veen, Clayton, Wade, Price, Bunting, Ross Smith and Damon Heta will also represent the PDC at those tournaments.

The World Series of Darts Finals will take place in Amsterdam between 17-20 September. The top eight players on the 2026 World Series Order of Merit will qualify as seeds, joined by fourteen additional qualifiers from the same ranking.
