The tournaments are spread across several venues this year, including Halle 39 in Hildesheim, Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan, Leicester Arena, Arena MK in Milton Keynes, and a first-ever visit to Den Bosch's Maaspoort – marking a long-awaited return of ProTour darts to Holland.
Leicester hosts the vast majority of these events, and this week's double-header is no exception. The field will feature a mix of big names, though participation is always subject to change, with Premier League players particularly likely to pick and choose their events. Luke Littler and Luke Humphries have indicated they may skip some tournaments or only play in Wigan, while other top names have previously snubbed playing in Germany due to travel. However, expect Littler, Humphries, Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, and Gerwyn Price to feature at various points throughout the year.
The main goal for players is to qualify for the Players Championship Finals in Minehead, which take place towards the back end of 2026 before the PDC World Darts Championship. Littler and co had issues qualifying last year, adding an extra dynamic to the race to the finish.
