The European Tour resumes this week with the Hungarian Darts Trophy at the MVM Dome in Budapest, marking the 11th event of the year. The tournament runs from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30, with afternoon sessions starting daily at 12:00 PM BST and evening sessions beginning at 6:00 PM BST. All matches can be followed live on PDC TV.
Luke Humphries headlines the field and makes his long-awaited European Tour return. He is joined by Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, James Wade, and Gerwyn Price, among others. Beau Greaves makes history as the first woman to qualify for a European Tour event, securing her spot via the Tour Card Holder Qualifier. Other notable names include Cameron Menzies, Dave Chisnall, Daryl Gurney, and Joe Cullen, who qualified through the ProTour Order of Merit.
Niko Springer returns as defending champion, having defeated Danny Noppert 8-7 in the 2025 final. Noppert is also in the field this year. Luke Littler has again opted out of European Tour action.
The full schedule sees the first round on Friday, August 28 (afternoon 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM, evening 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM), the second round on Saturday, August 29 (afternoon 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM, evening 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM), and the third round on Sunday, August 30 (afternoon 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM), followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final in the evening session (6:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
