XIAOCHEN ZONG COMPLETES PERFECT WEEKEND WITH FOUR CHINA PROTOTOUR TITLES

Xiaochen Zong underlined his dominance on the China ProTour again last weekend, winning all four tournaments on the schedule in Harbin. The 28-year-old Chinese star triumphed at Events 13 through 16, tightening his grip on top spot in the China ProTour ranking. With four events remaining, Zong has banked $9,450 in prize money, holding a lead of almost $4,000 over the field. Zhan and Lihao Wen sit second and third in the standings respectively.

The remarkable run began at Event 13, where Zong dropped just four legs across his opening three matches before seeing off Wen 5-3 in the semi-finals. He then beat Xicheng Han 5-3 in the final to claim the first title of the weekend. Event 14 proved tougher, with Zong needing last-leg deciders against Texi Fan and Zhiwei Lin after a 4-2 win over Pengyu Sun. Trailing 3-1 against Lin, he flipped the match with three consecutive legs. From there, he averaged over 90 in his last two matches, brushing aside Han 5-0 in the semis and beating Junlong Yin 5-1 in the final.

Sunday brought no let-up. The China Premier League champion reeled off five more wins to take Event 15, needing a decider against Bin Zheng and defeating Jizhou Li along the way, before beating Yuyi Shao 5-2 in the final. At Event 16, after a 91 average in his opener against Chenhui Pan, he again edged Zheng in a decider and then took out Tong Xu to reach a fourth final. Tianxiao Cao looked set to halt the unbeaten run, leading 4-3, but Zong struck at the key moment, taking two legs on the spin to clinch a 5-4 victory.

Zong thus completed a perfect weekend with four titles from four tournaments, bringing his season total to eight titles in 2026. The final four China ProTour events will be played from 31.10.2026 to 02.11.2026, followed by the China Championship, with the winner earning a spot at the PDC World Darts Championship in December.
