The European Tour is finally back, with the Hungarian Darts Trophy 2026 taking centre stage at the MVM Dome in Budapest. This 11th European Tour event of the year features some of the biggest names in darts, and fans can catch all the action live on PDC TV. The tournament spans three days, with afternoon sessions starting daily at 12:00 PM BST and evening sessions beginning at 6:00 PM BST.
Luke Humphries leads the field and will make his long-awaited European Tour return. He is joined by the likes of Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, James Wade, and Gerwyn Price. Beau Greaves also makes history as the first woman to qualify for a European Tour event, securing her spot through the Tour Card Holder Qualifier. Other notable names include Cameron Menzies, Dave Chisnall, Daryl Gurney, and Joe Cullen, among the ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers.
Niko Springer returns as the defending champion, having defeated Danny Noppert 8-7 in the 2025 final. Springer and Noppert are both back in Budapest, while Luke Littler has again decided against competing on the European Tour this time around.
The schedule kicks off on Friday, August 28, with the first round split into afternoon (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM) and evening (6:00 PM - 11:00 PM) sessions. Saturday, August 29, features the second round in similar time slots, with the evening session ending at 10:00 PM. Sunday, August 30, sees the third round in the afternoon, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final in the evening session from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
