September 2026 is set to be a whirlwind month for the PDC circuit, with major events packed into nearly every weekend. After the summer break, the action resumes with the European Tour, Players Championships, and the climax of the Challenge Tour, all while players battle for prize money, ranking positions, and qualification for the season's biggest tournaments.
The month kicks off with the Czech Darts Open in Prague from 4-6 September, the sixth edition of the event and the twelfth Euro Tour stop of the season. Luke Humphries is the defending champion, having beaten Josh Rock 8-5 in last year's final. He faces stiff competition from the likes of Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen, Gerwyn Price, and Gary Anderson.
From 11-13 September, the Flanders Darts Trophy takes place in Antwerp, with Luke Littler defending his title after edging Josh Rock 8-7 in a thrilling final last year. The 48-player field includes the world elite, with the top 16 from the world ranking and Pro Tour ranking receiving direct invites, and the remaining spots filled via qualifiers.
The World Series Finals then head to Amsterdam from 17-20 September, with 32 players competing at AFAS Live. Michael van Gerwen is the defending champion, having defeated Luke Littler 11-7 in the 2025 final. Prize money from this event does not count towards the PDC Order of Merit.
The month concludes with the World Grand Prix in Leicester from 28 September to 4 October, featuring a £750,000 prize fund and the unique double-in, double-out format. Luke Littler is the defending champion after beating Luke Humphries 6-1 in sets in the 2025 final. Before that, Players Championship 29-30 take place in Den Bosch on 22-23 September, and the Challenge Tour concludes with events 21-24 from 26-28 September, where Derek Coulson currently leads the standings.
