The Flanders Darts Trophy 2026 is set to take place this weekend, running from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September in Antwerp. As the 13th of 15 PDC European Tour events this season, it features a field of 48 players competing for £230,000 in prize money, with £35,000 going to the winner. Only tournaments in Basel and Maastricht remain after this weekend.
The field is headlined by Luke Littler, though he may still withdraw after securing his qualification for Dortmund by winning in Prague this past weekend. Also involved are Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Jonny Clayton, James Wade, and Michael van Gerwen, among others. The tournament was introduced to the tour in 2024, with Dave Chisnall winning the first edition. The second went to Luke Littler in 2025, who beat Josh Rock in the final.
Beau Greaves, Raymond van Barneveld, Joe Cullen, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Cameron Menzies, Rob Cross, and Luke Woodhouse are among those also in through the qualification routes (ProTour and Tour Card Holder Qualifier). This event is the last tournament before the World Series Finals in Amsterdam.
The draw will be confirmed on the Thursday before the event starts, typically at around 12 BST/1 CET. The schedule will be confirmed after the draw, but it tends to follow the same format: ProTour players face qualifiers on Friday, followed by the top 16 facing the winners on Saturday. From the quarter-finals onwards, the schedule mirrors the bracket with winners facing each other.
The format sees all rounds up to the quarter-finals as best of 11 legs (first to 6), semi-finals best of 13 (first to 7), and the final best of 15 (first to 8). In history, Luke Littler won in 2025 with an 8-7 victory over Josh Rock, while Dave Chisnall took the inaugural title in 2024 with an 8-6 win over Ricardo Pietreczko.
