The World Series of Darts Finals is set to take place at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam from 17 to 20 September 2026, with Gerwyn Price and Ross Smith among the headline names in action. The tournament is the 12th edition of the World Series season-ending event, following six unranked events held across six different countries.
Michael van Gerwen arrives as defending champion and top seed, having defeated Luke Littler in the 2025 final to claim his sixth title. Van Gerwen won in Bahrain and Copenhagen and also reached the final in Riyadh, while other victors on the World Series circuit included Luke Humphries in New York, Jonny Clayton in Auckland, and James Wade in Wollongong — with Littler defeating Van Gerwen in that Riyadh final. Van Gerwen finished top of the Order of Merit despite not playing in the US, while Littler and Humphries, among others, skipped the last few tournaments in New Zealand and Australia.
Price, Littler, Humphries, Gian van Veen, Clayton, Wade and Stephen Bunting are seeded for the event. Nathan Aspinall, Josh Rock, Damon Heta, Danny Noppert, Jim Long, Ross Smith, Ben Robb and Simon Whitlock have qualified through the World Series rankings, while Ryan Searle, Wessel Nijman, Chris Dobey and Jermaine Wattimena are next best placed on the Order of Merit. Rob Cross, Kevin Doets, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Daryl Gurney lead the Tour Card qualifiers. Man Lok Leung, Lourence Ilagan and Alexis Toylo were due to play, but only Motomu Sakai, out of the Asian stars, will appear due to visa issues.
The first round is played over 17-18 September with two sessions both starting at 6pm. The second round takes place on the Saturday across two sessions starting at 12pm and 6pm — the latter an earlier start for UK viewers given the European venue, meaning it will finish earlier than usual UK majors. Coverage is on ITV4 and ITVX, the free-to-air platform in the UK, while further afield it will be shown on Viaplay in the Netherlands and DAZN in Germany. For those without coverage, it will be shown on PDCTV as part of the monthly subscription package or annual for around £50 a year, which also gives fans the chance to buy tickets.
The schedule runs as follows: Thursday 17th September, first round, 18:00-22:00 (Evening); Friday 18th September, first round, 18:00-22:00 (Evening); Saturday 19th September, round two, 12:00-16:00 and 18:00-22:00; and Sunday 20th September, quarter-finals from 12:00-16:00, followed by the semi-finals and final from 12:00-16:00.
