Luke Humphries has insisted that simply reaching the World Grand Prix final "doesn't mean anything" unless he can defeat Gerwyn Price in Sunday's showdown at the Mattioli Arena.
The pair will meet in the final, with Humphries having previously beaten Price to claim the 2023 title. However, the Englishman has been runner-up in each of the last two years at the same venue.
Humphries' comment underscores the high stakes as he seeks to avoid a third consecutive defeat in the final and instead recapture the crown he last won three years ago.
Fans can watch the final live from 8pm on Sky Sports Main Event.
