Netflix has released the official trailer for Beat Luke Littler, a special darts programme in which twenty amateur darts players will get the chance to take on two-time world champion Luke Littler. The stakes are enormous: anyone who can beat “The Nuke” could win a staggering £501,000.
The programme will be broadcast live from Manchester Central on Friday 30.10.2026. The format is simple but spectacular: twenty selected amateurs will each face Littler in a single leg of 501, and anyone who beats the world champion will be in line for the huge prize.
For Littler, it will be a unique challenge. The 19-year-old Englishman has long been among the world’s elite, but this time he will not face experienced PDC professionals. Instead, ordinary darts fans will try to pull off a huge upset.
The twenty contestants were selected after an extensive search across England, with thousands of amateurs signing up for qualifying rounds in London and Manchester. Sixteen-time world champion Phil Taylor also took part in the selection process, assessing alongside the other judges which candidates had the ability to give Littler a genuine challenge.
Beat Luke Littler will be hosted by former footballer and television presenter Gary Lineker, with Richard Osman and Josh Denzel also part of the presenting team. With the trailer now released, the countdown to this special darts night is underway. On 30.10.2026, it will become clear whether any of the twenty amateurs can beat the world champion and take home £501,000.
