Luke Littler's European Championship campaign continues on Friday night, with the teenage star set to face William O'Connor in the second round at 18:00 UK time. The match forms part of a packed evening session at the European Championship, which is being shown in its entirety on ITV4 and ITVX in the UK.
The tournament, taking place between 22 and 25 October 2026, sees Gian van Veen return as defending champion and acts as the closer to the current season on the European Tour. The field is headlined by former champion Ross Smith as well as Wessel Nijman, with Littler currently seeded seventh and Luke Humphries in eighth. Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and James Wade, among others, also headline the field.
Seeding is determined by the top 32 in the Order of Merit, meaning Ross Smith will be top seed over Littler, who is currently seventh seed. Ranking money earned across the 15 European Tour events held as part of the PDC Pro Tour holds the key to qualifying for the tournament.
Coverage starts every night at 6pm UK time, which is 7pm local time in Germany as well as in the Netherlands and other parts of Europe. Sessions last for around four hours, from 6pm to 10pm in the UK, with an afternoon session on the Saturday from 12pm, and another on Sunday before the final takes place on Sunday night. The first round opened on Thursday, with the second round on Friday, the third round and quarter-finals on Saturday, and the semi-finals and final on Sunday.
Further afield, the event is shown on Viaplay in the Netherlands as well as DAZN in Germany, and for anyone else who cannot access the coverage in their territory, it will also be shown on PDCTV for the price of their annual subscription at no extra cost. This is location dependent, so viewers will need to check locally. In the UK, though, it is on free-to-air all weekend, likely with the usual pundits and commentators, including Wayne Mardle and Chris Mason, among others.
