The complete field for the 2026 World Series of Darts Finals has been confirmed, with Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen headlining a star-studded lineup at AFAS Live in Amsterdam from September 17-20. The event serves as the climax to the World Series season, featuring the top 24 from the World Series Order of Merit, four highest-ranked players on the PDC Order of Merit not already qualified, and four winners from the Tour Card Holders Qualifier.
Michael van Gerwen topped the World Series Order of Merit after winning titles in Bahrain and Denmark earlier this year, and also reached the final of the Saudi Arabia Masters. He will be joined by heavy hitters Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries, and Luke Littler, as well as Gian van Veen, who reached the Bahrain Darts Masters final and finished fifth on the Order of Merit. Danny Noppert also qualified after picking up valuable points during the Middle East double-header.
The ranking qualifiers include Nathan Aspinall, Damon Heta, James Wade, Jonny Clayton, and Ross Smith, alongside international names such as Brody Klinge, Raymond Smith, Man Lok Leung, Motomu Sakai, and Simon Whitlock. The PDC also issued invitations to Ryan Searle, Wessel Nijman, Chris Dobey, and Gary Anderson, but Anderson chose not to travel, passing his spot to Jermaine Wattimena, who became the fifth Dutch entrant without needing the qualifier.
On Monday, August 24th, the Tour Card Holders Qualifier allocated the final four berths to Kevin Doets, Callan Rydz, Rob Cross, and Karel Sedlacek. Dirk van Duijvenbode nearly became a seventh Dutchman but lost to Cross in the final round.
The opening round is split across two sessions on Thursday and Friday, with the second round on Saturday, 19.09.2026, also over two sessions. The tournament concludes on Sunday, 20.09.2026, with quarter-finals in the afternoon and semi-finals and final in the evening. Van Gerwen won the 2025 title, defeating Wessel Nijman (6-5), Rob Cross (6-5), Luke Humphries (10-5), and Josh Rock (11-6) before beating Luke Littler 11-7 in the final.
