The series offers significant rewards, with spots at the Women's World Matchplay, Grand Slam of Darts and PDC World Darts Championship for the top players, though it remains the only secondary tour that does not offer Tour Cards.
Looking ahead, DartsNews.com Head Editor Samuel Gill believes Greaves will continue to dominate, saying: "I think Beau Greaves will play the Women's Series just like the secondary tours last year in that she played enough to get herself in a good position and picked and choosed otherwise." He added: "I see Fallon Sherrock picking up the pieces and Gemma Hayter is only getting stronger. Lisa Ashton always has the ability to mix it up while perhaps we will see new contenders emerge given that Greaves may not be involved as much."
DartsNieuws.com Editor Mats Leering sees Fallon Sherrock having a big chance, noting: "Last year, the Women's Series was completely dominated by Beau Greaves. However, now that she has secured her Tour Card and will be playing on the PDC Pro Tour, the question is how much she will continue to be active in women's darts." He named Sherrock, Ashton and Noa-Lynn van Leuven as potential Order of Merit winners, while also highlighting Gemma Hayter and Kirsi Viinikainen as names to watch.
DartsNews.com Editor Lucas Michael expects business as usual, stating: "I believe the same names will be at the top of the list, and that includes the talented Beau Greaves who will have to juggle the Women's Series with PDC Tour action this year, something that she should relish." He tipped a rejuvenated Sherrock to push Greaves in the standings, with Ashton edging out Hayter and van Leuven for third.
DartsNews.DE Editor Nicolas Gayer expects a strong year from Sherrock if Greaves doesn't play in particular, saying: "Behind Greaves, I expect a strong year from Fallon Sherrock. The 'Queen of the Palace' appears to have put her health issues behind her, and in my view she will return in improved form in 2026." He also anticipated a solid season from Hayter and expressed hope that van Leuven can recover from her mental setbacks.
